The Role

We are looking for a generalist Platform Engineer who can seamlessly transition between cloud architecture, security, data orchestration, and developer productivity/SDLC.  You will be the primary architect of our cloud environment (GCP), responsible for ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and observable.

You will bridge the gap between core engineering and production operations. You will build the foundation that allows our AI and software engineers to deploy code rapidly and safely while maintaining the rigorous security standards required by our high-value customers.  You will help us craft our data pipelines to ensure that our data processes are reproducible, traceable, scalable and secure.

How You Will Make an Impact 

  • Infrastructure as Code: Own and evolve our Infrastructure as Code (IaC)  to manage a complex cloud environment. 
  • Security & Compliance: Act as the technical lead for security compliance processes 
  • Advanced Observability: Drive forward a robust observability stack 
  • CI/CD Excellence: Streamline deployment pipelines to ensure high velocity without sacrificing reliability. 
  • Data Orchestration: Contribute to our data orchestration layer

What You Should Have 

  • Terraform Expertise: You are an expert at IaC and have experience managing state and modules at scale. 
  • GCP Expertise: Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform 
  • Security First Mindset: Proven experience hardening cloud environments
  • Observability: Experience implementing modern observability tools 
  • Architectural Depth: Experience building multi-tenant environments where data separation and security are paramount
  • Modern Data Stack: Experience with ELT orchestration tools and an understanding of data lineage and observability
  • Python: Experience with Python for internal tooling and automation

It Would Be Great If You Also Had 

  • Experience in early-stage companies with rapidly evolving requirements.
